Notes on participant types
Professional visitors: physicians, psychologists, pharmacists, industry representatives, etc.
Physician in training: Licensed physicians who are employed by a training center recognized by the Medical Association and are undergoing training in a specialist field (not additional training) according to the WBO. Please submit an official letter from the clinic/hospital/practice with a stamp and signature confirming that you are currently working there for the duration of the conference as a physician in training (AiW).
Reduced-fee professional groups: The reduced-fee professional groups include: medical assistants, nursing staff, physiotherapists, and medical technical assistants (MTA). Please submit an official letter from the clinic/hospital/practice with a stamp and signature confirming that you are currently working there for the duration of the conference in one of the above-mentioned professional groups.
Students (only those in full-time studies/first degree programs) require a valid student ID or a certificate of enrollment proving that they are a full-time student at the time of registration and for the duration of the conference.
Trainees (first vocational training after school or high school diploma) require a copy of their training contract or student ID. It must be clear that they are a full-time trainee at the time of registration and for the duration of the conference.
