Procedure

All nurses are eligible. Proof of nursing professional status is required. Please do not apply for an ECFS 2024 Travel Grant and Young Investigator Award if you are applying for the Nursing Travel Grant.

Criteria for Innovation and Research Award

If you have a project or idea to improve care in CF, please submit your abstract below (background, objective, implementation, challenges, expected results and conclusion). Your application will be reviewed by the NSiG committee. The winner will receive a 500 Euro grant and will be invited to present their project or idea for improving CF care in Glasgow during the NSiG day, ahead of the main conference, on 5^th June 2024.

Criteria for Nursing Travel Grant

The ECFS NSIG travel grant is also worth 500 euros and is intended for Nursing professionals with several years of experience working in countries classified as Low-income, Lower-middle-income and Upper-middle-income by the World Bank.

Please describe your relevant work experience and qualifications under the “Personal Information” section “Other professional qualifications”and submit a short motivational letter supporting your application under summary of relevant experiences.

Two professional references are required. One from your current employer (the head physician of your unit) and one from a co-worker that is informed about your projects.
