The selection will be made during the abstract meeting of the Steering Committee at the end of February 2026.
The Young Investigator Award will consist of a monetary grant of 750 Euro + free registration to the conference and a 2026 ECFS membership.
The Travel Grant Award will consist of a monetary grant of 300 Euro + free registration to the conference and a 2026 ECFS membership.
If you are applying for or have obtained funding from elsewhere, please inform us at this stage. The Young Investigator Award and Travel Grant recipients will be notified in March 2026, after the reviewing process.
Requirements:

Early Career Professional Status by 15 January 2026, defined as:

A medically qualified doctor still in training who has not yet obtained a full specialist or consultant qualification; OR
-
A Post-Doctoral researcher within the first three years after completing their PhD; OR
-
Registered for a PhD or Post-Graduate Degree or graduated within 12 months

First Author of an abstract submitted to the conference.
